Charging up your chakras with Tantra ❀

sexy valentino on couchThe primary focus of Tantra yoga should be enjoyment and pure energetic healing! Do not worry if you are a novice or if you have not felt sexual energy in ages. The goal should be healing, bodily awakenings, awareness of your own energy and the opening up of your entire Chakra bodies.
At the beginning of most tantra ceremonies you can either begin staring into the eyes of your partner or offering your special guest a healing and deep tissue massage to simply relax the body and establish a state of mutual trust and bonding.

I use an everything but the kitchen sink approach to my tantra healings because the chakras respond to smell, breath, touch, crystals, sound and pulsation exercises.

At the bottom of our tailbone is our Kundalini shakti our seat of bliss so we want to breathe awareness into our tail bone area and constantly apply gentle and rhythmical pressure so that we are consciously activating our kundalini shakti. Once we gently awaken our kundalini we want to guide the energy upwards by a constant flow of slow breath and visualization. It’s wise to be very gentle and patient during any beginner’s tantra session and if your partner is exhausted or sensing panic talk through the pain or the exhaustion. We have bodily “memories” that we have stored over a number of years so as we evolve and experience blissful states or pleasure we are also aware of any “blockages” we might have ignored just to “survive”.

The act of breathing or rebirth breath allows you to introduce oxygen back to all your cells and you begin to use your diaphragm muscles properly and with intention so the breath might not seem easy or natural to you at first but once you practice by yourself every day you begin to experience gentle activation of your kundalina shakti in your sleep. The vibrations are very pleasant and you might here a soft buzzing sound and warmth traveling from your tail bone and all the way up slowly towards your neck. You will actually feel this warmth and electricity in each of your vertebrae if you are practicing the breath and kegel exercises in increments. Be aware of your body and how you feel as if you are astral projecting but you still feel “safe”.

If after your first tantra session you are confused never be afraid to research more information by reading books or seeking the help of a trained tantra yoga educator or professional. If you felt embarrassed or ashamed let your teacher or therapist or lover know what you are going through so you can process the experience and understand yourself more.

Tantra involves opening up your entire body to the experience of bliss. We are not necessarily going after an end result of orgasm rather we are teaching you how to be more grateful and more open so you can feel pleasure more profoundly and use your sexual energies to heal and open up all the chakra systems in your body.

I love using music, singing, crystals, laughter, shamanism and breath during my sessions but there are many unique paths to bliss just as long as you are patient with yourself and open about your goals. Expectation can get in the way of your own bliss. Have a goal set into place but be truly willing to let of of your angst if you do not see that goal come to its fruition immediately. Sometimes we might have lofty goals but our bodies might not be physically evolved or capable enough to receive intense energy if we have not explored certain aspects of our sacred sexuality.

Be patient with yourself. Be patient, open and loving with your partner and teacher and you will find that the opening up of kundalini shakti will be an exploration of your emotional and physical development so you can attain the level of freedom and bliss you deserve.

I love using “toys” crytals during my Chakra balancing sessions!

Chakra balancing is very similar to a good healthy work out for your body. Chakra balancing can be achieved with your own innate ability to feel and perceive your blocks or aches and pains in your body. If you understand that a chakra is a place to receive and send energy then each major chakra body we have correlates to a major organ or function in our physical body.

Simply put if you were a constant sufferer of headaches, migraines or stubborn sinus infections you would sense not only discomfort but a block in your 6th and 7th chakras which combined together involve your connection to your own inner ability to perceive what we consider Source and or your ability to intuit and use your gut intuition before making important decisions.

We can focus on colors that correlate to each of our major chakra bodies and we can use powerful visualizations, repeat affirmations, wear certain fragrances, wear special colors and use crystals to help balance our chakras.

When you feel out of sorts your chakra bodies become muddled so if you cleanse your chakras through the use of crystals, sage or salt baths you can slowly achieve and restore a sense of power, balance and positive well being. Reiki is an instant body balancing way to shift your energies and help your chakra bodies to communicate and realign themselves with each other. I love to use hot stones, crystals and organic aromatherapy essences to refresh the entire chakra bodies.

We are not seeking a “quick” fix in fact your thoughts play a huge factor on your ability to stay balanced and vibrating. Even if you undergo an extensive chakra balancing session but you repeat negative behaviors or continue to create negative thought forms you can get in the way of restoring your own healing.

Crystals especially pure amethyst, clear quartz, rose quartz and selenite create a powerful field of positive energies in your Chakra bodies. The simple act of laying still with a stone or crystal over your heart or stomach can restore a sense of calm and help you get rid of the “jitters”. Practice a bit yourself. Find a special selection of stones and crystals that you are naturally attracted to. You might find a certain color you gravitate towards or a special “feel”. Play with the stones and see how they make you feel. Do they give you more energy or less energy? Certain stones might be extra powerful for your body’s needs so look up the crystals that correlate with each of your chakra bodies or just pick the ones that feel GOOD to you.selenite pyramid

Have you ever wanted to try something new but you told yourself NO? Have you been delaying your first Tantra journey because you feel out of sorts or out of shape or you have been running yourself ragged and are so exhausted the thought of doing something relaxing never even occurred to you?
Well I am guilty of those sins myself. I remember not wanting to hire any of my Reiki Usui masters for a healing simply because I felt like isolating myself. I was tired, cranky, depressed and just negative. I finally called one of my favorite healers and when he spent quality time with me to help open up my blocked chakras I told him the truth about not wanting to be TOUCHED by anyone because I felt so depressed and fatigued. He paused and giggled a bit and said “WELL that’s what I am here for!!! That is the time when you should be calling me–when you are NOT feeling well!”

Yeah shame on me. Sometimes I get caught up on healing others and my true delight is to work with a few people who have a deep desire to heal. I feel good about myself when I can put someone back into “the game” but for some reason I seem to ignore my own body’s needs.
Well this is a time for healing and July 4th tends to be a very joyous occasion for many but not necessarily a fun time for people who need to retreat or fade away because of all the fireworks and fan fare. How can you just hide away from the world when Kaboom noises are everywhere and almost every event you wish to attend is filled with lively people screaming and in long lines?

Save a little time for yourself if you have to. Designate just a bit of “me” time into the mix and I think you will be okay. If you are always in the company of others and you don’t have enough time to do just “be” you are going to be resentful so store away some of your energy and DO NOTHING or get a relaxing massage or spend some time in nature.

Tantra Mantra Puja Celebration and Liberation of your Soul ✿

We are spiritual beings living in a physical world and trapped in a physical body. We want to soar and not have the limitations of our physical “cage”! We want to go without thirst, without cravings, without hunger, without lust and without pain or self doubt. Our natural state is “bliss”. We are born unto bliss and bliss is our birth rite. Tantra is the study of bliss and is the key to our inner contentment and our ability to see the unseen. When we feel trapped we feel powerless but when we learn how to travel outside of our bodies into the realm of the astral in the form of mindful meditation we grow “wings”.
Tantra involves a connection to Source and we expand and travel outside of our bodies therefore liberating our spirit body from our denser physical body. The word tantra is compose of two words in Sanskrit. Tanoti means quite literally to stretch out or expand and the second word Trayate means to free up or liberate. We use Mantras, yantras, meditation, breathing, pujas and pranayama during a tantra healing. If you have the time to schedule a 2 to 3 hour ceremony more than likely you will have a true taste of the yantras the symbolism behind each Chakra that we work on opening up together.
Tantra is the practice of keeping your energy high and maintaining your sexual energy for creative purposes and rejuvenation. Tantra teaches you the practice of mindfulness and your study of tantra as a form of meditation will also enhance your ability to appreciate all your mundane activities until they become infused with the extraordinary. You will take small bites of your food and take in each morsel. You will find new ways to create sacred space in your own home environment because you will become extra sensitive and you will require more art and more colors as you free up your inner clutter and give yourself the permission to explore the newness of everything around you.

Tantra seeks to unite all of us and create a sense of oneness rather than isolation. The act of partnering up with your lover or your tantra teacher creates an act of give and take and ebb and flow. As you connect with your partner you might even find your breathing patterns are in synchronicity and connecting becomes like second nature to you. Your bodies relax together and it’s as if you can feel the same pain or the same thirst. During a tantra healing you must remember to breathe consciously into your own heart chakra so you feel energized because you will be sharing your own heart energy with your partner and you will in essence be feeding each other pranic food.
How can you not evolve and expand under such lovely circumstances? We all go through phases in life. Sometimes we find ourselves busy in activity so we can hardly make space to learn anything new. At other times we might go through periods of worry or a lack of abundance. During these times we have more time to ponder different aspects of our personality and to decide what it is that really drives our passions. During these quieter times we have to reinvent ourselves and we can take this time to acquire new skills or change our location and move to a different city. Tantra will change you. Tantra will assist you in your growth no matter how painful or scary it is to change you can use tantra yoga to help you balance your relationship with yourself and give you the strength to set boundaries with others so you can express your needs and be “seen”.

ImageDo you have a special desire to learn tantra the right way and in an intimate gathering such as your home environment?  I am available for very small, intimate retreats.  I suggest we meet briefly for coffee and make special plans for you and your closest friends.  I am a skilled tantra teacher very open to meeting with your and a small group of your friends in your home where you feel safest.  We can explore the basics of breathing exercises together and learning how to touch with intention and authenticity.  There are many ways to touch your lover or close friend.  When you incorporate proper breathing techniques and reiki your partner will feel the difference whether your intention is to incite desire or send someone some tender and healing vibes.

I will take my time retraining you and giving you the basic steps you can use to infuse your touch with heat and tenderness.  My focus is to allow each of you to become a live demonstration and each one of you will also have the chance to assist me in a six handed massage so that by the end of the workshop you have a chance to be receiver of a true tantra massage ceremony and a Tantra God or Goddess– a shaman that helps facilitate healing.

It is a beautiful day here in Atlanta, Georgia and each day should be spent in reflection and lusciousness even if you do not particularly feel up for it. So the topic for today is Shared Bliss and Tantra Yoga in Atlanta. How can we better prepare ourselves to heal when we decide to set up sacred space or when we finally do decide to indulge in a private and sacred healing with a Tantra Yoga teacher? First of all you must realize you chose this time for your personal healing and you must be completely clear with your intentions and completely selfish.
When you do meet with your Tantra teacher in Atlanta or anywhere else in the world just realize your teacher is NOT a mind reader and this is your chance to express your secret goals and desires because this is called Shared Sacred Space. You are completely responsible for the outcome of the tantra session you have chosen. Will you choose to suffer in silence and not have your needs met or will you choose to be fully responsible for your own personal growth and let your teacher know exactly what it is is you wish to learn and experience as a new student to tantra yoga.
Please realize this is NOT the time to leave your cell phone on unless of course it is a major crisis. How can you be fully present and healed if you are constantly focused on something that is not within your control. The mere fact and action that you have actively decide to focus and concentrate on the moment should give you an indication that stresses and worldly cares should now be laid to rest for a rainy day and your focus should be on breathing, ejaculatory control and bliss interaction.
This is not a game and yes this is your time to finally have center stage and be pampered and made to feel special. If you have one or two or even three goals have you set aside that time properly or are you concerned about what is going to happen after your tantra ceremony.
If you can only think or worry about your responsibilities know that that is mind chatter and that is your indirect way of preventing yourself from exploring your bliss either out of guilt or out of a sense that you are not worthy of the pampering.
Please consider this Sacred Space a time of reflection and healing. You can worry about the dinner meeting after your Tantra Ceremony. You can contact your significant other after your ceremony and after you have had time to regenerate and heal your heart. Do not allow distractions to interfere from your personal ME time .
Every environment you enter is going to change dependent upon who you decide to see as a teacher. Is your teacher a visiting Goddess to your city? Will you be requiring your healer to travel to you to your appointed hotel space as a convenience? Have you both agreed as student and teacher what is safe and healthy for you to explore? When was the last time you actually received a Tantra yoga massage or healing?
Do not cheat yourself or your tantra teacher. Be fully present and let your concerns rest to the side for how many hours you have chose to set up sacred space. Sacred Space is an opportunity to grow. You use sacred space as Sacred magic and as a playful interchange that will affect your creative flow after your tantra session has been completed.
Are you open minded enough to realize that each teacher has a unique presentation of tantra yoga and you can learn and heal and be nurtured by varied styles? There are no accidents. Like energies attract like energies so just know what ever state of mind you are in and what ever physical blocks you are experiencing will be reflected in the teacher you choose and you become Sacred Healing mirrors to each other.
